Sifnos is the kind of island where almost every stop turns into a good memory. Wherever you sit, you are likely to taste amazing food, meet friendly people and enjoy the warm hospitality the island is known for. From beautiful beaches and traditional villages to small churches and breathtaking views, there is always something around the corner that makes you stop and look.

Chrysopigi is one of the most iconic places in Sifnos. According to local tradition, the rock on which the monastery stands was split in two during a pirate attack, creating the narrow passage you can still see today. The monastery, dedicated to Panagia Chrysopigi, is also the patron saint of the island and one of the most loved landmarks in Sifnos. Surrounded by the sea, it is a peaceful and unforgettable place, especially at sunset.

Kastro is one of the most beautiful and historic villages of Sifnos. Built on a hill overlooking the Aegean, it is full of narrow stone paths, whitewashed houses, old churches and hidden corners that make you want to keep exploring. The views are incredible, especially around sunset, and the whole village has a quiet, timeless atmosphere that feels completely different from the rest of the island.

The Church of the Seven Martyrs is one of the most photographed spots in Sifnos. Sitting on a small rocky peninsula below Kastro, it looks almost like it is floating on the Aegean. The walk down is beautiful, the views are unforgettable, and the whole place has a peaceful, almost magical feeling.

Kamares is the port of Sifnos and the first glimpse of the island for most visitors. Surrounded by hills and opening onto a long sandy beach, it has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. You can swim, sit by the sea, enjoy food and drinks along the waterfront, and watch the ferries come and go as the sun sets behind the mountains.

The view from Agios Symeon is one of the most breathtaking in Sifnos. From high above Kamares, you can see the port, the sea and the surrounding hills stretching out below you. It is especially beautiful around sunset, when the whole landscape changes with the light.

Platys Gialos is one of the most popular beaches in Sifnos, with a long sandy bay, clear water and plenty of places to stop for food or a drink. It has a lively but still relaxed atmosphere, making it a great place to spend the whole day by the sea.
