A day trip from Achilleio to Skiathos

Achilleio enchants visitors with its idyllic location, which combines the green nature of Magnesia and the blue, clear waters of the Pagasitikos Gulf with a particularly picturesque, enclosed bay that forms a natural harbor. It is situated next to the Glyfa area and very close to the village of Pteleos. During the summer, many sailboats anchor at the port of Achilleio, and there is traffic to and from the islands of the Northern Sporades.

I strongly recommend a day trip to the beautiful island of Skiathos (one of the Sporades islands) with the Elisabet cruises. It departs from Achilleio early in the morning, returns in the afternoon, and the journey takes about an hour and a half. Personally, I have had a wonderful time during the trip to Skiathos and back. The captain plays music, we dance, sing, and all become one big group! The boat drops us off at the well-known beach with golden sand, Koukounaries, which is worth walking around and, of course, swimming in its turquoise waters! From there, you can take the local bus to the town of Skiathos. Around 7:00 pm, it departs from Koukounaries back to Achilleio.
